Slinging The Blues
Dave and The Goliaths formed in February 2003 and after a few months of rehearsals, started playing clubs throughout New England. The band is powered by the soaring lead vocals of Dave Aster, energized by the firey guitar of Chris Martin and supported by the rock solid rhythm section of Joe Previte on drums and Steve Gilbert on bass. The band has received many accolades from publications such as The Blues Audience, and The Boston Blues Society. Performing originals and covers in a wide range of roots music - blues, rock and roll, swing, country, and rockabilly - Dave and The Goliaths are "An American Music Band."
